The 2022 Femundløpet is on!

We can finally say it once again - QRILL PAWS 2022 IS READY TO ROLL! That’s despite another difficult year for race organizers and everyone involved in sled dog events.

In 2020 the Norwegian biotech company Aker BioMarine teamed up with some of the world’s greatest sled dog events, The Iditarod, John Beargrease Sleddog Marathon, Femund Race and Volga Quest to create QRILL Pet Arctic World Series (QRILL PAWS.)

Despite challenging time for race organizers all over the world, we are finally about to launch what we have been working on for months - QRILL PAWS 2021 IS READY TO ROLL!

January 21st 2021, the Norwegian Directorate of Health has decided that Femundløpet 2021 can not take place as planned.

The Corona pandemic has been a showstopper for the majority of sports and cultural events in Norway since March. Finally, Femundløpet has received approval from the Norwegian Directorate of Health to hold the race in 2021. The planning process is well underway.
